Oh Laws no Miss Daisy, I wouldn't worry yet. Not this soon. Did you put the numbers into the USPS site itself and not just look at the ebay update? I did that the other day, but not today. It showed me the same info, so I have assumed they are connected... should I not assume that? Eathray |

I would say due to the holiday this could be happening with the package....it isn't just the one day but in my experience in the 2 days before and after...this has gotten worse in the past 5 years, I would assume due to less stations and/or less personnel at the PO.
Since you posted them on the 1st there wasn't a weekend in there yet.
I have often seen where the tracking said delivered to me but had not been and it could be up to another couple of days before it actually was.
I have also seen a lot of delays I can't explain...I have gotten packages from HI (to NY) in three days and stuff from three states over has taken 6. As James said, media mail is low on the totem pole so I am not surprised to hear this about it.
Therefore I don't have the greatest faith in tracking but I know it's all we have to work with.
Due to the weekend, I would hold pat till M-T and see what it says then.

James-16 y/o is advanced for cats. UTIs as Eathray mentioned is common, esp as they get older. Have you discussed a change of diet for them with the vet re the vomiting? I have noticed w/friends a lot of older cats needs meds-either pills or shots. I don't know what your feelings on that is...some people will spend a fortune and go through a lot of hoops for pets, even aged ones, and some people won't. I'm not asking but it sounds like you need to have that talk with yourself about now for the kids.  My question would be is one cat both puking and peeing or is it two different ones? Not always easy to tell I know...but is anybody coughing up a lot of hair balls or gagging? If you can manage to brush them daily it might help with hairballs. My kingdom for a good set of emoticons! LOL |

So b/c you brought it up...I decided to go look at some orders that I realized were getting old and not here yet...sure enough, one that started out 40 miles from me here in NY seems to have gone to WA!  Another one...they didn't ship it for 5 days. This is from a seller I know and this isn't normal. So I'll let it pass this time. Maybe by tomorrow you will be able to see something on the tracking. |

They are still down-I just checked. There is no "start a new topic" button or "reply to this topic" one.
yay! one down and one to go. they'll show up. told you...holidays/long weekends...always muck it up.
I used to think if they keep giving service like this, no one in the gen pop is going to fight for them with the pols....but I guess there is also an argument that goes "If I kill myself to maintain the standard of 100 people when there are only 10 of us now...there will never be 100 again-or even 50". On the other hand...their window service at the stations is totally appalling...I age a year every time I go.
We used to be able to "cheat" a bit and use the local university's mail place but they just changed the rules and we can send envelopes but not packages...unless we have pre-printed the label. I think. Going to really suck at the holidays. They said it was not them but the PO who did this. You would think they want less work but apparently they want to drag us into the stations...ugh.
