I KEEP missing the call-girl spams on the boards! Guess that's because I'm really not there much except to look into some tense threads about the new "rules" and very glad I'm not arguing with them anymore for naught. I did chime in on the CSA board yesterday because I swear that Jeff is just talking out of his arse and it's not even English. "If you suspect an item is fake you can't ask anyone on the boards, ask the seller instead. Then if it arrives fake you have buyer protection"community.ebay.com/t5/Clothing-Shoes-Accessories/Did-we-lose-more-than-a-full-day/m-p/16878949#M80836WHA? We can't help potential buyers :-) Nice-Person-From-Japan :-) it in the bud anymore? STOOPID. It gets more ridiculous every day and I can't abide it, so sorry, I'll check in to NTE just so's you know I'm alive and try to give you a larf or two.

Well James,
by popular request this board will remain as long as you and others want it to, so feel free to post your outrage, frustration here if you like. No worries.
Yah, the spam scene was very intense this morning, and apparently the mods keep business hours... perhaps with a skeleton crew at night. For whatever reason, they were not available to address the prostitution spam attack for quite a few hours. They are obviously going to have to do something about that, otherwise, every time they log off for the day we will get spam-bombed.

Good point Eathray. That has happened to me on another board outside of ebay. They did figure out the tech hours and hit us during those times (at night). And that board did exactly what you did today. Bump or create new, literally empty threads just to push it out of the front page till the mods could get it. Like today, it often was first thing in the morning. We used to call it the morning cleaning.
I am surprised some people seem to not like the bump idea. How strange.
James what a strange thing for Jeff to say...so you, a third party who was shown something, is not supposed to address he who told you....but contact the seller directly?? How is that supposed to go?
"Hi. I noticed you are selling counterfeit stuff. You should remove it immediately"?
Really? And what keeps them from reporting you to ebay for slander or whatever? That sounds crazy to me.
Hey...we are getting close to 666. I don't wanna be a nag but it is a one time opportunity.

Oh and I was going to say this is a good place to talk private stuff. Although, have you noticed we have thousands of views? That isn't all us by far. We have a lot of lurkers!
LOL maybe they think we are going to spill some super secret ebay info we had to go off-board to even discuss. ;D

Bazzinga! James got the 666 Thank you Karl. What does NARU mean? It sounds like something Mork would say LOL NARU NARU! I assume it means out the door. Bizarre is a nice way to put it. I'd say more like psycho myself. I still can't believe all those buyers did not report him! Welcome back Karl to the land of Wifi. Hope you were not too flooded with messages you did not want to waste valuable time down under on.

Fire,
NARU is an acronym for, ' not a registered user.'
It means the legal dept. got nervous and sent him packing.

Hi eBay Friends...
You have to get up early to catch the call girl threads.
I saw them in Australia because there was only a three hour time difference between India & Western Australia.

I went to stay with Mom while Dad was in hospital.
Last time my Sister did that duty but unlike me she isn't retired yet and would have to take time off work as she lives about 600 miles away from my parents.
Technically she is self employed she is a DVM ( Veterinarian ) but taking time off means finding some one to take over her practice.

It is possible some buyers reported him but the moderators only looked at the individual reports and not the overall picture. And many buyers probably decided it was not a good idea to antagonize a psychopath particalary one who knows where you live Safer just to ignore the feedback.
