I wonder why it took her so long to come up with such a lame excuse ... Do you think she's making it up? Pretty funny if it's true. She might not have known what the Hubby was up to since the boards are down. She might have just been listing and not really paying attention. It could be true, but of course, we don't know. Funny conclusion to a controversial thread regardless Eathray

Funny. They neglect helping people, but they want to talk about the 'New Forums Experience' that nobody can see yet Better Late than never. Eathray

Fire, Somehow you must have moved or erased your call quote. 1. Find a post you want to reply to. 2. Select the quote option on the top right of that post. 3. This will open the reply dialogue and insert the quote into the box. 4. place your curser after the call close of the quote box. See example: Example: [quotesomenumber] Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah [someperson/quote] Your curser goes here5. Return carriage a couple times and begin your reply. 6. Post. Eathray Ok...here we go....I am trying it. If I can't get it while literally using the directions post, I am really pathetic!!! I have NO idea what you mean about the html.

Ha Ha!!! It worked!! Thank you Eathray! (high five!)
Now then, resuming a semblance of dignity...Hi Everyone.
I had to re-join pro board b/c without coming in through the link on the NTE board...and of course....once in, I could not remember the proper name of this one so I still had to go back to the link. Pfft.
Like that sun today!
Looks like a tornado hit the property of a dad of a friend up in CT and took out 6 trees and he was supposed to be on the news but instead it was a woman who lost 15 trees. Unless they show it later.
So I realized how many message I had in my ebay emails so I cleaned that out today and sorted the ones I wanted to keep. Phooey. Like I don't have enough work with regular email accounts.
Hey Karl...heard on the news they foiled/caught a couple of people with pressure bombs on Canada Day like the ones used in Boston. Sigh.

Ugh...that didn't make sense. Sorry. It did in my head! ;D
What I meant to say was yet again, I could not log in here. So I supposedly created a "new" account with the same info as before...(which I got a confirm on)...and they acted like they never heard of it. Once in, I could not find here...so I had to back up to the NTE link.
Now I wrote the exact name down so I should be good.

Glad you are gettin it down. html is the interface language used to call commands between the browser and the website. It's how browsers and websites communicate with each other. There are other components, but html, now on version 5 is the primary language of the internet. Eathray

html(5) stands for Hyper Text Markup Language v.5 Eathray I appreciate the thought but really this is like talking to me in Chinese so I have to say thanks but don't waste your time. I'll stick to the little stuff like the quotes. maybe someday I'll understand what a bookmark does. For now, I just leave this open and refresh whenever I come back.

It's not really as bad as that, Fire. There's a very easy way to look at it.
1. Your browser wants to talk to a website. 2. The website wants to understand your browser's request. 3. They need a language through which to communicate, such as you and I communicating with each other in English. 4. The language they use is html.
That is my best and simplest explanation. I can do no more here :-p

I bookmarked it, in a folder called "ebay". I just lost a friend, a neighbor I helped sell on ebay. But once I left her on her own and taking her own pics etc. she really couldn't keep it up. But I kinda expected that. But she paid me nice for helping her get started. I've been feeling blah all day, can hardly eat, now this. Thinking too much about Death I guess. Close to birthday time, dealing with the step-widow lady, ugh.
