I do combines all the time but it is very common for my category to do that. In fact it would be very weird for a seller not to. I am building combine piles right now with two different sellers.
I will leave FB on each piece I buy...the system does prompt you to do that-either from your purchase list or your feedback in your account...it will show if you look it up later in their FB, but I don't think it counts in their total as more than one per trans. I actually try to make each one different so it isn't just a batch all the same but people do that too. And If I got especially good service I like it b/c it gives me more room to cheer them.
Remember when we talked about this like a month ago? It was my inquiry about free shipping? We found out buyers assume you are building the ship into the price (I would) -which some sellers said yes, and some said no...the yeses said do ask them to discount on combines. I think that is why you still get those requests and always will.
It's confusing for buyers b/c there are many variations/riffs on the the basic options. IE While most of my sellers say to wait for a combined invoice...I do have one that says pay for it all and we will credit you. I have a note of that but bless me if I remember to look which is why I am now working on a combine policy list for myself hardcopy to just look at. I already have a bunch of windows open at one time which is not fun for cave girl. Some of my sellers may think I am crazy b/c I always email to ask for them to hold for combine when in theory on repeat buys I should know I don't have to..they just wait till you ask for the invoice. Others do want you to ask each time. Who remembers who is who? I don't.

LOL Eathray....that looks suspiciously like a romance novel cover! ;D Hugs to you too you slacker. So I am serious-what are people eating tomorrow? I am trying to figure out what to make. I don't need tons...there will only be 5 of us.....I have HM mac salad already. I am thinking about cold shrimp cocktail....fruit salad, brownies with ice cream....I need a main. Preferably a non-cook or make ahead and serve cold. Sandwiches feel boring.

In my case, free shipping means it's not beeping open to discussion but of course, everything's open to interpretation, isn't it Eathray

I'm better today, just kind of zoned out yesterday after news of my friend. Didn't go to bed until 4 am but I woke up alive which is what I was hoping for!
I had a dream... serious, I was in a new TV musical comedy show with Lynda Carter and Keri Russell, who played her daughter. We were filming the show on the same set as a recently cancelled Ted Danson show. Just seemed pretty normal really.

James,
Doesn't hurt to chill and reflect when someone is lost.
I spoke at my grandfather's funeral after he passed. It gave me the chance to remember a number of things about him. I spoke a little about the WWII generation and their significance, and I spoke about how grateful I was that my Kiddo had a couple years to get to know him. Something very special gets passed on through the generations that is hard to explain, but part of it is for a kid to get to hear the world view of someone who was born in 1919.
If there will be a service for your friend, I would definitely encourage you to go. Far from the dismal and depressing events they are sometimes cast as, they can actually be a time of good memories shared with family and friends.

Grilling is not an option for me...SO wish it was. LOVE grilled hot dogs! Yes, gentlemen...it's the 4th of July tomorrow! Guess none of you are planning to see fireworks. I'm in the not feeling normal group myself-have not slept well in a week. Feel like there's tar in my skull today instead of a brain. I agree James...if there is a service try to go. You may learn interesting things that make you feel even better for having known her. I had a terrible nightmare couple weeks ago. Terrible aren't they? Leave you feeling all off kilter. As for combines....we had agreed to disagree on it because there was a difference of opinion about whether it really is free or in the price of the item and we got mixed answers on that from different sellers. I'll leave it there. I was just trying to say why I think you still get that question. Had a humongous rain storm before and now the sun is out again. Geez. Well at least I am not worried about not enough water for the garden. When we get a dry spell the sprinkler system isn't enough and we have to hand water which = hours of standing with the hose.

LOL Eathray....that looks suspiciously like a romance novel cover! ;D I happen to love romance novels... and fantasy, and sci-fi, and mystery, and... well I'm a reader; there you go. One of the greatest novels in the history of English literature is a romance... 'Pride and Prejudice,' by Jane Austin. Actually more than a romance, but a romance none the less. Eathray

Austen rocks.
When I read...which isn't much for some years now unfortunately, I read a lot of fantasy, some non-fiction..I used to get a lot of science based mags but not anymore. Have you been reading Fant for a long time? Did you read the Wheel of Time? I got stuck in book 9 and am trying to decide if I want to keep going. It feels like the author is just dragging it out now. At some point I want to start again. I miss it.
Have you been watching Game of Thrones? I think it is really well done. I have not read the books but the show has great visuals...I love the opening sequence with the moving map....Seems like since they did that excellent (finally!) version of LOTR they are finally willing to put really money into Fantasy. I have to wait now for season 3 to come to rentals since we don't have those cables channels.
